Waterbasedscreenprinting.com is one of many sites run by Vacord Screen Printing (main site: vacord.com). Vacord was started in 2006 by Stuart, who began printing in his basement with Union and Speedball brand waterbased inks. Those are not high quality inks, and he soon found Matsui brand inks, and has used them ever since. Today, Vacord uses mostly Matsui brand inks, but also some Wilflex brand.
- Why we like waterbased inks:
- They are pretty easy to use, the one drawback is that they air dry, which means they will start to dry during printing if you don't keep moving
- Very soft feel on the shirt
- More eco-friendly, which is a good trait in these "green" times
- Beautiful colors
- It's a good niche in the screen printing world to master
Our guarantee: We will print your shirts to the best of our ability to exactly recreate your artwork and how you want the shirts or hoodies to come out. If for some reason they don't turn out well or we make a mistake on our end, we will either refund you or replace the items. We want you to be happy. We won't take on a job if we don't think we can do a fantastic job on it, and we won't ship out shirts unless they look great.
