Pricing for Our Printing with Waterbased Inks
We thrive on custom work and would love to print your designs on any apparel that we offer. If you'd like prints done on items other than what we offer on this page, just contact us and we will look into availability of such item.

Order stipulations, requirements, and information
- With screen printing, it makes sense to print as much as possible at a time, so there are minimums. There is a minimum of twelve items for one-color designs, eighteen items for two-color, twenty-four for three-color, thirty for four-color, forty-eight for five-color and sixty items for six-color designs. Printing amounts below minimum will result in a surcharge specific to the situation.
- Designs submitted to be used for printing need to be print ready and in high quality, such that the images need to be vector format or actual print size in 300 DPI (dots per inch resolution). Colors must be flat and solid, as blurry and uneven colors may require a lot of clean up. Photoshop or Illustrator files are preferred but we can work with high quality JPG or TIFF files also, as well as some less-preferable formats sometimes when necessary. Good printing starts with good artwork. Colors must be flat, with no shading, scaling or fading. Extremely fine detail may not come out well, so try to avoid minutia such as 1 point lines. We will do minimal work to images to make them ready for screening at no charge, but for any image that needs considerable preparation we must charge $50 an hour for graphic work. We also work with a graphic designer if you need artwork created from scratch based on your idea.
- We can use a variety of ink colors for the same design if you would like, but there will be additional cost based on the specifics. Generally, the more items we can print at a time, the cheaper it is.
- There is a $10 charge for setting up each screen. Designs with multiple colors and print locations require a separate screen for every color and location. Our screen set up charge is significantly lower than most printers in order to encourage small run orders.
- We will print anywhere possible; front, back, side, inside collar, or long or short sleeves. Additional charges are incurred for multiple print locations. Use the quote form to Get a Quote specific to your order.
- If you are in the Philadelphia area and wish to provide your own shirts for us to print on we will arrange a time for you to drop off the apparel. If you are not local, but still wish to provide your own blanks, that is fine as well. We charge $6 per print on provided shirts for 12 to 17 pieces, $5 each for 18 to 23, $4 per for 24 to 29 prints, $3 per for 30 to 49 prints, $2.50 per print for 50 to 100 prints, and $2.00 per print for 101+ prints, if the print is a one-color design. Contact for a specific quote for multiple-color prints on your own blank garments and anything in a higher quantity or an order with multiple separate designs. Note that we prefer to provide the blank garments, especially since we use discharge inks for printing on darks, and they don't work well on all brands and colors and styles. We need to know what blank items you want to provide before we can print on them.
- Generally, a 50% deposit is required before we can start your order, and 75% is needed for an order of $1000 or more. We accept paypal and credit cards in person or over the phone, money orders by mail or in person, and cash for local customers. We can also take company or organization checks but may have to wait for the funds to clear before starting the order.
- XXL, XXXL and greater sizes may be available, but incur a higher cost depending on the style of print item.

Please check out our online catalog from Alpha Shirt that shows almost everything that we can obtain from our distributor. Please note the style code when you find an item that you like. Besides that distributor, we also have accounts with Alstyle, Alternative, American Apparel, Independent and TSC Apparel.
Following are prices for one color / one location prints and include the specified garment. Prices are based on quantity ordered per design and complexity of printing. Please Get a Quote for any multiple color, multiple location, or bulk prints. Discounts will also be given for multiple designs in one large order.

- Remember that three main factors go into pricing:
- Quantity of printing per design
- Style of garment used for printing
- Complexity of printing, IE how many colors and locations
- Minimums for different amount of print colors:
- twelve items for one-color designs
- eighteen items for two-color designs
- twenty-four for three-color designs
- thirty for four-color designs
- forty-eight for five-color designs
- sixty items for six-color designs
